Insurance and Fees
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and HMO plans, Cigna, Tufts and other major insurance plans. Co-pays are due at the time of service.
If we do not accept your health insurance and you would like to use health insurance to cover therapy, you may pay the regular fee and submit the bill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Clients are responsible for knowing the extent and details of their mental health benefits and reimbursement particulars. Reimbursement rates vary.
Please note that health insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to cover behavioral health visits. Because of this, many clients choose not to use insurance, as they do not want a mental health diagnosis attached to their records. A mental health diagnosis has proven detrimental in acquiring future life, health and disability insurances. It can increase insurance premiums and even prohibit some companies from approving you as a client.
In the event of a court proceeding or lawsuit, your mental health records may be subpoenaed.
Sessions run approximately 45-50 minutes. Our fees are from $110 for individuals and $140 for couples. Our initial consult fee is $220. Fees vary per therapist. Please call for each therapist session rates.
Forms of Payment
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card at time of visit. Please check with your therapist for payment details.
We require 48-hours notice for a session cancellation so that other clients have the opportunity to book the appointment slot. A cancellation fee of session rate will be charged for those cancellations with under 48-hours notice and insurance does not cover these fees.
